Hello friends and family,
As you know hospice has always been important to me. I had always hoped that it would be available for my sister Darlene so that she did not have to spend her last days in hospital. Unfortunately that dream did not come true, but I am happy to be able to support it now for others. Due to COVID-19 volunteering was put on hold, along with fundraising efforts. Hospice needs to raise about $850,000 annually to ensure that residents and clients are able to access all the services that hospice can provide, at no cost to them. One of the ways is by participating in The Great 2020 Activity Challenge. I am going to commit to walking 30 minutes three times a week from August 1-31.
If you are able to sponsor me for this challenge you will be helping to provide compassionate care for clients and their families during their most vulnerable time.
If you are not able to donate at this time, please don't worry. Its also important to spread awareness to everyone that this wonderful service is available for everyone.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
